Driving in the Winter – Some Advice for Safety

Driving in the winter can bring about a whole new set of problems to deal with.  It can be a dangerous time to drive, especially when the temperature drops and it becomes icy or snowy outside.  Here are some tips to help you remain safe in your winter car journeys.

Firstly, it is important that you maintain your car correctly over the winter.  You will want to make sure your tyres have the correct tread depth and they are pumped up enough.  The treads help to grip the road.

You should check your car for the right levels of oil, fuel, coolant and other liquids when it gets colder – you do not want to break down during the winter!
